Fancy a cocktail? Amongst all the tropical flavour in this passionfruit and mango collins hides a secret ingredient. It’s guilt free, good for you and the perfect excuse to start up your own cocktail hour. You should read on…
Some of you may have noticed that things have been a little quiet around here. In the past few months we’ve had our house rewired, a damp extension battled, a kitchen demolished and rebuilt, an office redecorated and just because we like to do things all at once, I started a new job. Phew! I feel tired just saying it all.
It is so exciting stepping back in to the finance world but having been self employed since I turned 21, I’m not ready for that to end. My blog and recipe development work will continue with the added bonus of more financial security, which feels so good!
The kitchen posts are coming, the new job is amazing and although I’m pretty exhausted, I couldn’t be happier! So think of this cocktail as a toast to two amazing jobs and the end of the most hectic 3 months ever.
So, have you spotted the hidden ingredient yet in this Passionfruit & Mango Collins?
This cocktail has carrot in it.
It’s made with V8’s V-Fusion Passionfruit, Mango and Carrot juice, packing 2 of your 5 a day in to this boozy tipple. Poured over crushed ice, this is summer holidays and tropical beaches in a glass.
Something that makes me happy is that there’s nothing but fresh fruit and veg juice in each carton. Do you know how hard it is to find pure juice with no added sugar amongst super market shelves? It’s near impossible!
You have no excuses when you can even sneak vegetables in to cocktails like this. It’s 50% carrot and yet, you’d never know. I urge you to give this one a go.
