The question I’d like to pose today is this; is it possible to take outfit of the day photos yourself a) without a timer b) without a remote c) without a tripod d) with a 10year old DSLR that’s almost impossible to hold single handedly? Let’s find out…
It’s become apparent that I’m obsessed with stripes. I said goodbye to my beloved striped navy and white dress earlier this year and I’ve replaced it five fold. I have a navy and white striped vest, t-shirt, long sleeved top, dress and strapless top. Excessive Breton? My sister-in-law (if Matt ever pops the question) agrees with me -there’s no such thing as too many stripes.
I’ve been so stressed this weekend with final assignments looming and exams in the not too distant future that my mood has really shown in my clothes. After handing my last assignment over this morning, I decided to put on one of my favourite outfits as a cheer up. One of my favourite bloggers, Callie had written about how much what you wear can affect your mood and although I don’t feel like I can take on the world in this outfit, I sure as hell can take on my Hospital appointment this afternoon.
P.S. I was plagued by lens flare this afternoon but I shan’t complain about the glorious sunshine

Later on this week I’m off down to London to film a recipe with Loyd Grossman for the new online video platform Grokker. I’m so excited to be involved in such an amazing project alongside the gastronome that is Grossman. I’ll keep the dish that I’m cooking quiet until the footage is ready to share with you all, but guess what I’m wearing? Stripes…
