You may remember the Radiance Enhancing Dream Creme I reviewed back in July. It was a pretty unique opportunity for me to get to grips with a brand from the very start, no preconceptions. If you haven’t read that, you may want to skip back to it before reading this post – it tells you a little more about the brand’s concept.
Tara Walker herself dropped me an email to thank me for the review and ask if I’d like to see the rest of the range. After the results I’d seen from the Radiance Creme, how could I say no?
There was much excitement when the box arrived. Every little detail so perfectly designed.

A lot of luxury skincare tends to step in to ‘excess packaging’ territory. This brand is different. There’s no unnecessary packaging, everything that needs to be there is there, nothing more, nothing less.
Left to right: Rejuvenating Dream Serum, Dream Cleansing Balm, Perfecting Dream Creme, Regenerating Dream Night Creme, Dream Eye Serum (Radiance Enhancing Dream Creme not pictured)
The colours chosen remind me of the ocean, fresh and tranquil, complementing each other beautifully. I wonder if that was intentional given that they contain a large amount of marine ingredients. Either way it seemed fitting that I photograph the range inside my Dad’s rowing boat.
I’m still in love with the enamelled metal cases, especially now I have all the colours. They’re just so beautifully made. What shall I put in them when the product is all used up? I certainly won’t be throwing them away.
Often we find that skin care products have been bulked up with superfluous ingredients but this entire range is different; there aren’t even any preservatives. Each product comes with 5 separate tubes, keeping the ingredients nice and fresh. Once opened, the individual tube lasts up to a month (if you use the doses correctly). I’m finding them very handy for nights between my Parent’s house and mine and Matt’s. They’re the perfect size to pop in your carry on luggage for flights too.
My routine begins with the Dream Cleansing Balm which transforms in to a milky lotion when it meets water, a little bit like Sanctuary Cleansing Oil or Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel. It leaves my skin feeling clean and purified but not gasping for moisturiser like most.
Next I apply a drop of the Rejuvenating Dream +100 Serum. This is the secret weapon as far as this range goes. 109 botanicals and powerful antioxidants to protect against the days stresses. This is where the whole range started as a labour of love for Tara back in 1982 and it features in every product. I was a little uncertain about putting such a rich serum on my oily skin but it seems to have helped with breakouts and congestion.
Whilst that sinks in, I turn to the Eye Serum which has an ingredient called Chrysin, proven to work against the natural pigments that give us dark circles under the eyes. A saviour after a bad nights sleep!
Finally I choose a moisturiser from my armoury. The Perfecting Dream Creme has been my day time choice for under make up but the Radiance Enhancing Creme gives me an amazing glow on it’s own. The Regenerating Dream Night Creme is much richer and really does feel restorative on the skin.
This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed a skincare regimen and the results are really showing. My skin has been stressed out by ever changing prescriptions but a troublesome area on my temple has massively improved and I think my skin generally looks healthier.
Have you tried anything from Tara Walker’s Dream range? I’d love to know what you think of the packaging too – I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
