For the next 365 days I have £100 to spend on beauty products and not a penny more.
“Whaaaat?”, the crowd says. Yes, the challenge, run by A Thrifty Mrs, is bonkers. I’m the first to admit that I’m not sure I’ll be able to stick it out. I’m not big on makeup and I don’t spend hours pampering myself, but still even the essentials will be hard to squeeze in. That’s the whole point though, right?
At the moment, I can’t even begin to quantify the amount of money I spend over the year on beauty supplies. It’s certainly more than £100 but how much more I’m not sure.
Taking part in the challenge should help me reassess the worth of my staples. Expect to see scrimp/splurge style posts, bargain hauls and potentially a few paddies as I realise I can’t afford my beloved Clarins Flash Balm. I promise to give it my best shot though so I guess you’ll have to come back and check out my updates to see how I manage.

I won’t bore you with the nitty gritty details but if you’d like to find out exactly what’s included head here. Just remember to think of me in the run up to Christmas when stocks are low and I need a boost. I’ll post a wish list to make it easy for you 😉
So between now and 2nd July 2014, I have no more than £100 to spend on beauty. Do you think you could manage? If you want to join in the challenge head over to A Thrifty Mrs’ blog post to find out more.

My gosh you are brave! I’m not sure I could do it, with foundation and powder coming to £54 from Bobbi Brown, then I buy shampoo in litre bottles…think I will sit back and be impressed by how well everyone else does! 😛 x

What a great idea. I know I would be pretty scared to find out how much I’m actually spending on beauty products…. Good luck in this challenge!
