One month on from starting my blog and so much has happened! I’ve gone from wondering who would read my posts to actually knowing I have regular readers, I was asked to guest blog over at Cocktails with Mom and I’m being sent a box of food to review. Then, just to put the icing on the cake, Nicole from Miss Friday’s Feast sent me The Liebster Blog Award! * excited stampy feet dance*
The award is to recognise up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers and share them with your readers. The fact it came from Nicole is pretty wonderful in itself; I met her online by complete coincidence, but we soon realised we share the same first post date and are now Blogging Birthday Sisters. Hurrah!
As part of the rules, I’m to pass this blog award along to my favourite 5 up and coming bloggers (with less than 200 followers). Drum roll please…
Erin is a pretty special lady to me. At a time when I was feeling my most poorly and down she took me to a salon, got me all dolled up and took some wonderful photos of me.
She’s the most naturally talented person I know, and an absolute gem of a friend.
I could ooze lovely words about her photography all day long but the best thing for you to do would be to see it for yourself. Go and have a nosey at her blog and over here on her Facebook page.
Miss Jade Culbert from Makeup Obsession & Anxiety Confessions This blog is literally brand new and I’m already excited about it! Jade’s already got some posts up and I’ve jumped at the opportunity to ask her for some advice on choosing lipstick. Photo taken by her cousin Erin (above).
Mr Adam Garratt from The British Menu Adam’s blog is dedicated to the food we’ve come to love as a Nation and trying to put the pleasure back in to a good meal. You can feel free to tease him about his slightly irrational fear of mandolins too.
Ah yes. I’m a rule breaker. I’m only sharing 3 of my favourite bloggers. My other regular reads are well established blogs and I really thought having to find another two bloggers with under 200 followers seemed to defeat the point.

Welcome! Isn’t she just fabulous! I could look at her photos for hours! It’s hard to believe the picture of her floating mid air is a self portrait! 🙂
