I see so many blog posts about how to get longer hair. The sensible answer is just to give it time, but what if there was another option with proven results?
That’s exactly what FAST claims to be. Fortified Amino-acid Scalp Therapy promises to give you maximum length in minium time. I first read about it in the Daily Mail (shame on me) and it caught my interest.
Back in June my hair was feeling pretty weak from years of bad health and bleaching. My lovely hairdresser and I decided it was time for a fresh start and I left the salon with a chin length style. I really liked the cut but my aim all along has been to grow it back, and that’s been a tedious task.
Here’s my hair now (starting 16-01-13):
My first guess was that the formula would be stuffed with chemicals but in fact it is 100% organic which should be a relief for any sensitive scalps. It doesn’t have the type of smell you’d get in something like Herbal Essences. You won’t stand in the shower for that little bit longer enjoying the scent but it isn’t bad at all. It doesn’t smell like the medicinal shampoo I expected. It’s a clean, fresh, light fragrance that I quite like.
I figured the only way to test this properly would be to measure my hair and compare it to normal growth rates. So I’m starting with a bottom layer length of 26cm from my scalp to the tip of my hair.
Did it work? You can find out how I got on here.
Nisim Fast Shampoo & Conditioner is available on Amazon for £24.98.

Thanks for this post, I have rubbish hair that grows really slowly but I’m sceptical that products are able to alter what I guess is my genetic makeup. I’ll be keeping my eye on your blog for an update to see if it’s worth the investment
Have a great week!

I am so glad i stumbled upon this post as my daughter is trying to find something to help her hair grow. It is shoulder length and never gets any longer. It’s in good condition so we just don’t know why, as my hair grows quickly and easily, so i will follow your use of this product with interest xx
I am following you now on GFC, i would love if you followed me back as I am a newbie blogger, only ten days so far! and need any support i can get 🙂

I also took the plunge and cut off all my dead hair back in October. I’ve now given up bleach (cue 7.5cm of roots and measuring!) and heat but I’m still desperate to speed up the growing process somehow. I can’t wait to see how you get on with these products.

Thanks for the comment -I’ll keep you updated 🙂 I’m enjoying using it already because it has given my hair it’s shine back! I guess they’re quite pricey though so fingers crossed I get some results for us both! x
